EFT quickly counteracts face pain

Hi Everyone,

This brief article by Dawn Norton points up how simply EFT can be done. At the end she says, "Later that day, I text messaged her to see if it had returned. She said that it had returned later, but she just repeated what we had done together and it had gone again. Her reply was "COOL!""

Hi Gary,

I thought you would enjoy this recent 30 second quickie. A friend I work with recently asked me about EFT. I gave her a brief description and nothing was ever said again, but I have had a secret desire to do some tapping with her for a physical challenge.

We were together a few days later working out our schedules and she mentioned that one side of her face was really bothering her and thought it might be sinus or a toothache. I asked her on a scale of 0-10 how bad it hurt and she said a 3.

I asked her to take off her glasses and follow me. I did not use the "even though" statement or the karate chop point. I guessed that she was not reversed. And did not want to raise her eyebrows if I did not need to.

I started at the eyebrow point and did all the shortcut points including the wrists and top of head and just said, "this pain" at each point. She followed along with a perplexed look on her face. I asked her to take a deep breath at the end of one round. Then I asked her how it felt. She looked more perplexed and said, "you just took my mind off of it." To which I replied, "that's what everyone says." She moved her face around trying to get it back, but no pain. I explained the apex effect and we had a laugh and she went on her way.

Later that day, I text messaged her to see if it had returned. She said that it had returned later, but she just repeated what we had done together and it had gone again. Her reply was "COOL!"

I agree. EFT is pretty cool. And maybe I'll be able to later address her other physical challenge.
