Aloha.

While EFT has been a tremendous help to me, I'm finding the most rewarding experiences come when I share it with others.

One day I was at a campground cafeteria by the ocean where I sat down across from a woman who was holding a bag of ice against her upper arm. I asked what it was for, and she explained that she had just been swimming and had gotten stung by a jellyfish (likely a Portuguese-man-of-war). She removed the bag of ice to show me the angry looking dark pink rash on her arm where the tentacles had come in contact with her skin. I asked if she'd be open to trying an easy acupressure technique I had recently learned. She was. I asked her to check in with the discomfort and give it a rating from zero to ten. She said it was a "7" or "8." I told her we'd be tapping lightly on various points while saying an affirmation. She intuitively got the importance of the setup phrase, and she most emphatically echoed, "Even though I have this jellyfish sting, I deeply and completely love and accept myself." She repeated "jellyfish sting" as I guided her through a gamut sandwich. She checked in with a "2". With just one more round of "this sting" she was exclaiming, "It's gone. It's just gone!" to everyone at the table. She showed me her arm. There was only a little pink showing, and that seemed to be fading before my eyes. Tara
